This now leads us into the next leap forward and that is Interest. Interest literally raises the curve of The Most Important Graph In The World. You can change the way in which you think because now you are interested in everything.

Not being interested means you are saying you do not have any association with a given body of knowledge. If you do that you are starting the seed of being interested in nothing.

Think of the danger stemming from the latter situation.

Who are interested in everything? Kids

Who are the best learners? Kids

Who are the most creative? Kids

Who are the most energetic? Kids

Who are the most optimistic? Kids

Who are the fastest? Kids

And we teach them!

And when we do teach them we often teach them the wrong formulas. Only when we train them, as we often do, in not being interested, do they lose their memory and creativity powers.

When you are interested, all your senses open. The average adult is not interested in many things. If you are interested in everything, your eyes will be wide open and you will acquire more images, and will improve your memory as well as your creativity.

A baby keeps its eyes open because he or she is totally and absolutely interested in you. And if he or she is interested, he or she will use all of their senses, will touch everything, will play with everything, and will keep their eyes open.

Normally we say to little children:

“Don’t touch”, “Why?” ,“Because it is rude.”

“Don’t stare (Don’t use your 260,000,000 light receptors), “Why?”,“Because it is rude.”

“Don’t experiment with the ultimate musical instrument, the human voice - Don’t explore the heights and depths and volumes of it. Stop making that horrible noise.”

When the child wants to run, what do we say? “Be still.”

When they want to make a noise, we say “Be quiet.”

When they want to daydream, we say “Stop daydreaming and pay attention to me!”

We therefore teach the child exactly the opposite of what all memory systems suggest and what Leonardo recommended as the best ways to develop a well-rounded brain.

When you are interested, everything is going to open (e.g. your life as when you were a baby). So the Most Important Graph In The World tells you that when you are interested your infinite memory capability and creativity rise.

When a child learns to become not interested, that is serious stuff.

The solution? You get them through the process where they realise they are interested.
